Situated in Mumbai, Oye Kake is a celebration of Punjabi culture. A traditional Punjabi restaurant, the design identity of the 110-sq-m space by Saniya Kantawala Design, borrows from the rustic and earthen palette of the land of the five rivers. The highlight, a 300 metre light installation made from 36,000 bangles, is inspired by the traditional Punjabi ornament for women called choora. The insallation is created by Mutation Lab. It is embedded with lighting made from the six brand colors of Oye Kake.
